Abuse and Treatment

Often drug abuse and alcoholism are associated with poor mental health. Abusers refer to these sources to escape the mental state they are burdened with and continue to rely on drugs or alcohol as a coping mechanism. Despite what the reason may be, the abuse of either is a disastrous course, and the recovery process needs dedication, effort, and time. The withdrawal process for alcoholics is divided into stages.

The first stage generally commences at approximately 8 hours from the last drink. In this stage, the person encountering withdrawal suffers from high levels of anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, agitation, nausea, shaky hands, and sweating. The second stage occurs between 24 and 72 hours after the user’s last drink. Throughout the second stage, someone may experience heart palpitations, high blood pressure, along with many symptoms from stage 1 being amplified. Alcohol withdrawal peaks at 72 hours.

Now, the last stage is truly the most detrimental, proving that abuse and recovery is a serious matter and it needs dedication and determination. The first symptoms of the third stage begin after the 72 hour period since your last drink. These symptoms are going to be the most severe. During this time, people have reported experiencing hallucinations, high fevers, seizures, and even death.

Regarding drug addiction and your recovery, what we offer depends on the type of addiction.

  • Cocaine
  • Benzodiazepine
  • Methamphetamine
  • Flakka Drug
  • Ecstasy and Molly
  • Fentanyl
  • Heroin
  • Opioid

We provide you with the most successful methods to treat addictions so that you are able to reach recovery safely. Amino acid therapy is our top leading strategy to conquer addiction. Amino acid therapy uses proprietary amino acid-based intravenous preparations to assist neurological repair. The method is used to interrupt the brain’s addiction to the drug, reducing the need for it.

Other Treatments

We provide a number of methods to achieve sobriety, that way you will have flexibility in your routine as you engage in therapies, exercises, and programs. We tailor our recovery process to your needs. We allow a margin of comfort for you to establish your strengths and oversee your weaknesses. You cannot succeed blindly, it takes observation and connection with yourself, so we offer step-by-step programs and gradual routines to help you adjust before accelerating your recovery.

We like to focus on the fundamental factors of who you are. You are provided therapeutic opportunities to express yourself on behalf of the experiences you had with addiction and how you want to pursue recovery. We want to hear about your goals so that your treatment can meet expectations. Recovery is a personal experience. We like to tailor this process to your liking so that you feel connected with the healthier, more capable version of yourself.

  • Small Groups

We accept a certain number of clients within each program to keep our 2:1 staff-to-client ratio to allow clients to engage on a personal level. Having a high number of clients can be overwhelming for not only the staff but for you as you will not be able to attain a deep connection with the program. We want to supply you with a gratifying experience and our staff strives to embed personal care. Without it, you will most likely feel detached, weakening the ability to absorb valuable progress.

  • Therapeutic Services

Serenity Springs offers a number of different, versatile therapeutic programs. Throughout the week, our clients schedule individual, group, and/or family sessions by licensed professionals who specialize in providing services that are relevant to their general circumstances.

  • 12 Step Immersion

We utilize this method to allow spiritual growth and connection in the structure of routine so that our clients are able to get adjusted to the healthy choices we encourage. Having consistency is an important part of recovery. The 12 Step Immersion program will help you maintain that success. Clients are assigned a Recovery Advocate to guide them throughout the process by giving them insight and sharing information about recovery experiences. The program adheres to both alcoholism and drug addictions.

  • Life Skills Management

Serenity Springs also provides you guidance on life skills, so when you return to your life beyond rehabilitation, you are able to pick up on the responsibility and daily routines that correlate with your needs. When you return, you are able to manage priorities and handle financial matters without disruption and confusion. The goal is to have you healthy and integrated into your life so that you are able to succeed and transition smoothly.

  • EMDR Therapy

EMDR therapy is eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. While this is a controversial form of psychotherapy, it has become recently popular for addiction treatment. The person being treated is asked to recall distressing images; the therapist then directs the patient in one type of bilateral stimulation, such as side-to-side eye rapid movement or hand tapping.

Payment

Payment is not our first priority, recovery is. We provide you with different payment options and plans that coincide with your budget so that you are able to continue your sessions and programs without any interruptions. We also offer self-pay rates for the Residential Program or Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Program. Our admissions experts are available 24 hours to help you deal with the financial worries that come along with the treatment process.
