At Serenity Springs, we make each success count. We understand that addiction is more than suffering, it is the battering of your wellbeing. Committing to rehabilitation is never easy, but you were able to summon your strength to pursue a better life and we are here to support your decision. Addiction not only affects the body, it also affects the mind. To initiate a thorough recovery, Serenity Springs provides an intensive 12-Step program and clinical interventions. Our substance abuse team is made up of professionals and clinicians who will help you throughout this journey by introducing different approaches that help you ease into sobriety. Serenity Springs uses a multidisciplinary approach to treat the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Together, we can create a specialized treatment plan specific to the needs of each client.
Abuse and Treatment
Often drug abuse and alcoholism are associated with poor mental health. Abusers refer to these sources to escape the mental state they are burdened with and continue to rely on drugs or alcohol as a coping mechanism. Despite what the reason may be, the abuse of either is a disastrous course, and the recovery process needs dedication, effort, and time. The withdrawal process for alcoholics is divided into stages.
The first stage generally commences at approximately 8 hours from the last drink. In this stage, the person encountering withdrawal suffers from high levels of anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, agitation, nausea, shaky hands, and sweating. The second stage occurs between 24 and 72 hours after the user’s last drink. Throughout the second stage, someone may experience heart palpitations, high blood pressure, along with many symptoms from stage 1 being amplified. Alcohol withdrawal peaks at 72 hours.
Now, the last stage is truly the most detrimental, proving that abuse and recovery is a serious matter, and it needs dedication and determination. The first symptoms of the third stage begin after the 72-hour period since your last drink. These symptoms are going to be the most severe. During this time, people have reported experiencing hallucinations, high fevers, seizures, and even death.
Regarding drug addiction and your recovery, what we offer depends on the type of addiction.
Ecstasy and Molly
We provide you with the most successful methods to treat addictions so that you are able to reach recovery safely. Amino acid therapy is our top leading strategy to conquer addiction. Amino acid therapy uses proprietary amino acid-based intravenous preparations to assist neurological repair. The method is used to interrupt the brain’s addiction to the drug, reducing the need for it.
Besides amino acid therapy, Serenity Springs offers a myriad of options for your convenience. We provide methods and strategies that comply with your sense of comfort as we acknowledge that you are here on your account and have the ability to know and choose what is best for you. Serenity Springs strives for your recovery and the probability of that success depends on therapies that coordinate with your needs.
Of course, recovery is an arduous journey. Any method you choose is going to be a challenge, but we begin gradually. We allow a margin of comfort for you to establish your strengths and oversee your weaknesses. You cannot succeed blindly, it takes observation and connection with yourself, so we offer step-by-step programs and gradual routines to help you adjust before accelerating your recovery.
We focus on the mind, body, and spirit. You are encouraged to express your thoughts and reactions to your previous experiences with addiction, allowing us to gain a better sense of who you are. We acknowledge that you are more than your addiction, and so we strive to release your emotions in a gratifying method, helping you reposition your outlook on life. You will be encouraged to gain structure in your routine by accessing routines of physical health and mental health. You are also provided outlets to spiritually connect with your life and yourself.
We accept a certain number of clients within each program to keep our 2:1 staff-to-client ratio to allow clients to engage on a personal level. Having a high number of clients can be overwhelming for not only the staff but for you as you will not be able to attain a deep connection with the program. We want to supply you with a gratifying experience and our staff strives to embed personal care. Without it, you will most likely feel detached, weakening the ability to absorb valuable progress.
Serenity Springs offers several different, versatile therapeutic programs. Throughout the week, our clients schedule individual, group, and/or family sessions by licensed professionals who specialize in providing services that are relevant to their general circumstances. ● 12 Step Immersion
We utilize this method to allow spiritual growth and connection in the structure of routine so that our clients can get adjusted to the healthy choices we encourage. Having consistency is an important part of recovery. The 12 Step Immersion program will help you maintain that success. Clients are assigned a Recovery Advocate to guide them throughout the process by giving them insight and sharing information about recovery experiences. The program adheres to both alcoholism and drug addictions.
Life Skills Management
Serenity Springs also provides you guidance on life skills, so when you return to your life beyond rehabilitation, you can pick up on the responsibility and daily routines that correlate with your needs. When you return, you can manage priorities and handle financial matters without disruption and confusion. The goal is to have you healthy and integrated into your life so that you can succeed and transition smoothly.
EMDR therapy is eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. While this is a controversial form of psychotherapy, it has become recently popular for addiction treatment. The person being treated is asked to recall distressing images; the therapist then directs the patient in one type of bilateral stimulation, such as side-to-side eye rapid movement or hand tapping.
Payment is not our priority, recovery is. We provide you with different payment options and plans that coincide with your budget so that you can continue your sessions and programs without any interruptions. We also offer self-pay rates for the Residential Program or Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Program. Our admissions experts are available 24 hours to help you deal with the financial worries that come along with the treatment process.
