Nicotine & Tobacco Quick Fix Facts

On Average

In the United States alone, more than 480,000 people die a year from cigarette smoking.

Still Rising

Since 1964, more than 20 million Americans have died from smoking (1 out of 5 deaths).

Need More?

How about this? Smokers life expectancy is fourteen years less than non-smokers.

Why is it so hard to quit nicotine and tobacco products?

Nicotine, a highly addictive substance found in all tobacco products, causes people to become addicted to such products as cigarettes and chew. In the case of cigarettes which contain 5 milligrams of nicotine, the nicotine reaches your brain in a matter of 8 seconds. Once this chemical reaches your brain neurons release an excess of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that will make one feel instantly more relaxed. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov) has this information along and much more regarding the harms of tobacco & nicotine.

Nicotine & Tobacco Statistics

Based on the numbers, 20 percent of all deaths in America are due to tobacco use. Unfortunately, it is harder to quit nicotine and tobacco than it is to get started. Tobacco kills roughly 50 percent of its users, giving you a 50/50 chance of making it through without any issues. Is it time for you to quit nicotine for good? Have you already tried without success? If you answered yes to at least one of those questions, it is time to take a look at what amino acids can do for nicotine addiction.

What is amino acid therapy?

Amino acids are the building blocks that makeup neurotransmitters which completely manage our nervous system. Nicotine and tobacco use cause an excess of dopamine production. In turn, this creates an imbalance of neurotransmitters in your brain. With the use of amino acids, balance in the brain can be restored to a homeostasis state, maintaining equilibrium.

How are amino acids administered?

Amino acids are provided through intravenous therapy (IV) so that it will pass the digestive system. This will allow it to be more potent and effective once reaching your brain. After therapy, the patient’s body, psychologically and physically, will go back to its natural state allowing for one not to need nicotine to release dopamine. It will be in its state prior to becoming addicted to nicotine, jump-starting the process of tobacco-free living. This also means you can be free of bad teeth, bad smells, bad circulation, bad skin, bad bank account, etc.
