Dr. James Meredith is a graduate of the University of South Florida, for both his Bachelor and Medical degrees, graduating with honors. His residency was also conducted at the University of South Florida. He has practiced General Practice Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Interventional Pain Management for the last 6 years. He is happily married with 2 children and resides in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Dr. Meredith has worked in many settings over his time practicing, including the FL State prison system, Private Practice, as well as with multiple Interventional pain facilities. He has written numerous papers and conducted research regarding Opiate Dependency and treatment. He enjoys cooking gourmet meals and spending time with his children and loved ones. His philosophy of addiction treatment is that no two patients are alike and that treatment should be all-encompassing including traditional western medicine, alternative treatments, behavioral therapy, and 12-step principles.
